4296training_img.gif Overview

If you are thinking about using a content managed website for your business, then you might be concerned that you do not have the technical knowledge or skills to make the most of all the possibilities it presents.

PLD offers direct coaching a tuition for all clients who use a PLD-NET content management system, and the amount of training you require depends entirely on your current skill level. We believe that the content management system is very intuitive and simple to use, as you only need a normal web browser to make changes, and a lot of people will be able to find their way on their own. If not, here is the support we can offer to you.

The support all PLD-NET clients can expect All PLD-NET clients using a content management system have access to an extensive help file, which is available in the site administration area. This is revised from time to time, as the need arises or clients request additional information. It covers all the functionality of the content management system.

In addition PLD-NET clients will receive e-mail support to answer any questions that crop up in day to day use.

Personal training For clients based within a realistic travelling distance of our base in Bristol (45 mins by car*), UK, we are delighted to offer personal training at your promises, to explain personally, and in detail, all the functioning of the content management system, the reasoning behind why the site has been made the way it is, and how to get the best out of it.

There are many more subjects that can be covered in a training session and the session can be adapted to the starting skill of the participants.

Time: We have found that a two hour session is the best, in that we can cover all the ground and fill in a lot of detail about general internet use, security considerations, search engine, shopping carts, and so on. However, if you should want a strictly focused session of one hour covering a limited range of topics this can be arranged too. There is a minimum session length of one hour.

One hour session: £85.00

Two hour session: £160.00

Half day (four hours): £300.00

*Travelling. A travelling distance of up to 45 minutes to reach your business is included in these costs. If you are further away, we can still train you, but we will have to talk about a slightly increased fee to cover the additional time and travel.

Made to measure training for your particular requirement If you require additional training, or training for a larger number of people, then we will be happy to conduct a larger scale training session or seminar for you.
