 Terms and conditions

1738terms_img.gif These are the standard terms and conditions which apply to all content managed sites. Please read them through and if you have any questions, please contact us at web@pld-net.com

  1. PLD-NET reserves the right to refuse to provide services to new clients without stating reasons.
  2. A new site will not be set up unless the fees for the selected plan have been paid in full (and funds cleared).
  3. Suspension of an established site is not something we would consider lightly. An established site will be suspended without further consultation where:

    • The site is consistently exceeding the volume of data transfer allowed, and the client has not responded or entered into discussion about the type of plan they are using.
    • The client has not renewed the arrangement with PLD-NET and paid (and funds cleared) the fees due for the plan selected before the anniversary of the set up date of the site.
    • There is delinquent use of the site, including attempts at hacking, the running of unauthorised scripts (or executables) or the posting of salacious, pornographic, defamatory, hateful, racist, illegal or otherwise objectionable material. PLD-NET's decision over server misuse is to be considered final.*

  4. Reinstatement of service. Where reinstatement of service is requested following suspension for any of the above reasons a £35.00 service charge will be required (and funds cleared) before reinstatement takes place.
  5. Set up and hosting fees are not refundable.
  6. Limitations. PLD-NET will make every effort to provide continuity of service for its clients who have adhered to the terms and conditions of business, however, it will not be held liable for a loss of service or data, or a loss of business arising from a loss of service or data. In the event of any such failure, service will be restored as quickly as possible.


*Note: Where malicious or reckless use of the server by a client results in data, connectivity or hardware loss, PLD-NET will consider the matter to be very serious, suspend service immediately and may take legal action
